WSU Astronomy and Physics Club’s 11th Annual Pumpkin Drop

I had the opportunity to visit the 11th Annual Pumpkin Drop put on by the Washington State University Astronomy and Physics Club during Dad’s Weekend. Gravity was put to the test as pumpkins, gourds, and even some watermelons fell from Webster Hall.

I created this advertisement for my internship to promote the WSU International Program center’s various social media accounts. Social media reach is a vital part of promotion for the International Center. Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook are the three big portals we use to promote events daily in order to increase the number of international and non-international students visiting our center.

I contributed to this work for my internship at the International Center. This is an advertisement used in the Compton Union Building at Washington State University. It was displayed as digital signage on flat screens around the building as well as hard copies posted around the university from May 18 to May 22, 2015. We created this to attract students, particularly international students studying at the university, to attend our weekly coffee hour.
